What's EV-Aware Routing?
Standard routing engines find the shortest or fastest path and stop there — they don't know or care whether a vehicle can actually make it. EV-aware routing factors in battery range: it computes routes that respect how far a vehicle can travel on its remaining charge, and automatically inserts a charging stop when a destination is out of range.

How is this different from normal routing?
Normal routing ignores vehicle range entirely. EV-aware routing models remaining battery charge and will route through a charging stop when needed, rather than returning a route the vehicle can't actually complete.
